Duties to perform:
Responsible for the checking of executing work from consultants side, it include planning for work execution in RCC and Structural work like Truss for Multi purpose centre, at various levels Checking of payment certificates submitted by contractor as per bill of quantities, approved drawings and revisions. Maintaining quality by Q A plans which approved by contractor like all test and pour card.
Responsible for planning and management of construction of a number of super specialty components of the projects. The job will involves interacting with clients for design, detailing, finalizing contractors under a transparent tendering process, complete legal documentation for contracts and supervision of projects during implementation to ensure completion within agreed cost and time lines.
Responsible for Implementation of Civil & Structural scope of project from end to end basis. i.e Conceptualization to Commissioning .
Provide Interface to other project Discipline to ensure timely project completion & handover.
Implementation of Civil & Structural portion of project for ensuring Schedule, cost and functionality
Ensure desired construction Quality, Safety.
Liaison with Government Authorities for obtaining necessary Project clearance for construction.

Project: Construction of 33kv Sub-Station Building for Impala Platinum Mines
The project includes the construction of 33kv Sub-Station Building, cable racks, compressor base, retaining walls, Pipe rack and apron slabs. The work includes RCC framework with all required arrangements for brickwork construction and other in electrical work to complete afterwards and RCC floors are at various level and of variable structural components.
Duties to perform:
Overall responsible for the checking of executing work from contractor’s side, it include planning for work execution, setting out works, checking levels, checking of bar bending schedule and Checking of bills, measurement to prepare payment certificates and Updating of progress report. Maintaining quality by Quality Assurance plan which approved by contractor like all test and pour card The project has to be completed on fast track, this to be done with good quality by sticking to the required codes and standard practices.
3) Group Five Civils (Pty) Ltd
(From January 04 – December 04) Period 1 year
Designation: Trainee Site Agent/ Engineer.
Project: New Colesburg 8Ml reservoir and pumpline
The project includes the construction of 8Ml reservoir, 3km pumpline, scour and air valve chambers
Duties to perform:
Overall responsible for the checking of executing work from contractor’s side, it include planning for work execution, setting out works, checking levels, ordering of construction materials, checking of bar bending schedule and Checking of bills, measurement to prepare payment certificates and Updating of progress report. Maintaining quality by Quality Assurance plan which approved by contractor like all test and pour card.
4) WBHO CONSTRUCTION (Pty) Ltd
(From January 02 – July 03) Period 06 months
Designtion: Trainee technician.
Project: Upgrading of OR Tambo Airport Runway, apron slabs and fuel pipeline
The project includes the construction of apron slabs, runaway, manhole chamber, stormwater channels and pipes
